The fastest way to reach us is hello@planshot.app. For bugs, include your device model, iOS version and what you were doing when it happened — the app's Settings page has a "Contact support" row that pre-fills these for you.
Which devices does PlanShot work on?

Scanning needs a LiDAR sensor: iPhone Pro models (iPhone 12 Pro and later) and iPad Pro models with LiDAR, running iOS 17 or later. On devices without LiDAR the app still opens — you can view and edit the sample project — but it can't scan.

Does it work offline?

Yes — completely. Scanning, plan generation, editing and every export work in airplane mode. The only thing that needs a connection is making or restoring a purchase, which goes through the App Store.

How accurate are the measurements?

PlanShot uses Apple's RoomPlan technology, which is typically accurate to within a few centimeters in good conditions. Mirrors, glass, very dark rooms and rushed scanning reduce accuracy. You can override any dimension with a tape-measured value in the editor — and you should always verify critical dimensions before building or ordering materials.

Where is my data stored? Can I move it to a new phone?

Everything lives on your device — there are no accounts and no cloud. To move or safeguard a project, use "Back up…" on a project in your library to create a .planshot file, save it anywhere (Files, AirDrop, a drive), and restore it from Settings → "Restore from backup" on any device running PlanShot.

My rooms won't merge into one plan.

Apple's merge can only align rooms captured in one continuous scanning session — use "Add another room" between rooms instead of finishing and rescanning. Rooms from separate sessions are kept safe and shown side by side; to get a single merged plan, rescan that floor in one session.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Open Settings → "Get Pro" (or any locked export) and tap "Restore purchases" on the Pro screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple account, so they follow you to a new device. Refunds themselves are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
